Question

I need to figure out how much staffing it will take to strip and finish over 85,000 sq. ft. of corridor tile once per year. Also, the time to top scrub the same amount once a year and maintain it during the year by buffing it twice a month.

Answer

Production rates depend on what equipment and methods are being used. If you are doing 85,000 sq. ft. of tile, you need to automate the operation as much as possible.
For example, just top scrubbing that area with a 17 rotary will take about 44 man-hours. Probably more when you include solution prep and carrying it to the work area.
Add another 35 hours for the wet vac( 14 tool) solution pickup. Wow! If you use a 36 autoscrubber, the time drops dramatically to about 6 man-hours plus the solution dump and refill time. So, without knowing what equipment you have at your disposal or are willing to acquire, we cannot answer this inquiry with any degree of certainty.
