| I am wondering if someone can suggest a product that I can use to remove carbon from a tile floor in a carbon manufacturing plant I clean the account two times a week, scrubbing the floor with a machine, but it is not doing the job.

Here is what I have used in similar settings. After vacuuming up as much dry carbon as possible, mop on a heavy duty degreaser and allow it to set for 10 minutes (or, shower feed and double scrub). Scrub with a tan pad, squeegee and rinse. Unfortunately, this process removes some of the finish and causes premature dulling. This, in turn, requires more frequent burnishing, and more frequent re-coat and strip cycles. But, that's the nature of the beast. A mild neutral floor cleaner is normally ineffective. On alternate days, mop on the heavy duty cleaner, allow a 5 min. dwell time, and mop it off (using a double bucket or 2 man operation). You must tweak the concentration/strength for maximum penetration and minimal finish removal. Gary Clipperton National Pro Clean Corp. (719) 598-5112
