| Please help me find any possible and easy solution to fix the hair scratches on delicate stainless steel work. Is there any chemical that can hide the scratches, or do we need special sand paper and polish to fix the scratches?

Scratched and worn stainless steel (except mirror finishes) can be refurbished with the following process. 1. Start with heavy duty cleaner or liquid pumice porcelain cleaner such as Liquid Comet. 2. Apply the solution to a small area approximately 1 sq. ft. and aggressively scrub with a green nylon scratch pad such as 3M # 96. 3. Work the area uniformly with heavy pressure, moving ONLY with the grain of the stainless. If you work against the grain, it will severely scratch the stainless. 4. If this process is too aggressive and dulls the stainless, switch to a white nylon pad or use only the heavy duty cleaner. 5. Wipe with damp cloth and apply light coat of stainless steel cleaner for protection, if desired. Gary Clipperton www.nationalproclean.com Ph-719-598-5112
