My company has assigned me to research the both web-based and off-the-shelf software that principally focuses on Quality Assurance, yet offers other components as well. Please advise on the premiere products on the current market. t.

The first thing you should do is type “Janitorial Quality Assurance software” into your search engine and look at what comes to the screen.
In my opinion, a “premiere product” would be one that doesn’t cost a small fortune either up front or for on-going “upgrades”, is easy to use and adjust to your operation, uses a simple “Acceptable/Unacceptable” format, and avoids ambiguous inspection guidelines such as the APPA standards.
I have personally used, make that tried to use, only one you will see come up. The time it took to load up information about what to inspect and the site specific material was overwhelming and it now sits unused on the computer. I could not get it to work easily with my simple inspection concept that just notes deficiencies without any weighting or loading to complicate things.
As to specific programs, we can offer little. Your best approach is to contact the providers directly and ask for demos of their software. I wish I had taken my own advice.
