| How do you get grout lines in restrooms clean ? We have stripped them, scrubbed with wire brush with powerful cleaners, yet cannot get rid of the black color. The grout was originally light brown. |

Stripping only helps if a finish is sealing the soil into the grout. Even a wire brush may be too course to reach fine soil embedded in the grout without actually removing grout. Try using a steam generator with a wand and stiff brush on the tip. You will have to trace the lines, but live steam is very effective and totally free from residue and pollutants. The dislodged soils may be vacuumed or mopped up.
