How do I know how much my company is worth?

There are two factors:
1. What someone is willing to pay you for it.
2. What you are willing to sell it for.
Beyond the above, talk to a local or national business broker who specializes in selling cleaning businesses; he or she can review various formulas that are used to set a starting price on a business. It is best to find someone with experience selling cleaning businesses as they are a little different due to short term contracts that are pretty much common place in the industry.
There are several consultants who specialize in helping others buy or sell cleaning businesses. Bill Garlough (The Change Agents) is one who comes to mind, and Gary Penrod is another.
