Question

We have recently installed a Marmoleum tile floor and were wondering what is recommended for the care and upkeep of these floors? Do other institutions have them? What are the pros and cons that are found with this flooring? Has it been a good choice overall?

Answer

Marmoleum® is a linoleum flooring product manufactured by Forbo. A recent scrub and recoat that my company did of a badly neglected Marmoleum® floor restored it dramatically and the client was very pleased.
I am told it is being installed more commonly all the time, so evidently it is proving satisfactory in daily use.
We followed the restoration guidelines provided by the company on its website, http://www.forboflooringna.com/Commercial-Flooring/Products/Marmoleum/. More specifics are available in the commercial/technical section in PDF format for easy download to your printer.
