| How can I get yellow stains off the floor? Stripper will not
remove them. Also, are there any safety standards for laundry out there, and, if so, where do I find them?

If stripper leaves the color showing, then the stain is obviously in the tile and not in the removed finish. If you suspect rust, use a rust remover such as Zud, according to the directions on the container. If the color is from rubber-backed matting, chances are it has discolored the tile so deeply that the change is permanent. Place the mat back where it was. I’m unsure what you are seeking for safety standards for laundry, but a good place to start would be www.cleaning101.com/index.cfm. That is the homepage for the Soap and Detergent Association and they offer all sorts of helpful information. See the sections on Laundry, and Health and Safety. Lynn E.
