| What would you recommend to get rid of odor in men's urinals? We scrub each urinal two time a day with Butcher's Morning Mist # 33, but odors still present.

The product you mention is a Quat and will disinfect the urinals, but will not remove mineral deposits made up of hard water and urine, which may be the odor source. Use an acid based bowl cleaner, carefully, to dissolve any deposits, giving special attention to pushing out water from the traps so they may be cleaned as well. Consider that the odors may be coming from the floor, especially the tile grout, and that you may need to soak those affected areas to remove residue. Walls and nearby partitions must be cleaned also, since urine spatter is not uncommon. Lynn E. Krafft, ICAN/ATEX Associate Editor lekrafft@juno.com
