Question

How do you remove swirl marks from a wood floor that has been buffed with a high speed buffer and paste wax?

Answer

That depends on the cause and location of the swirls.
I'd try a super soft white pad to see if they can be polished out of the wax. Some swirls may be normal depending on how the floor was refinished, and lighting plays a role in swirl visibility. Light swirls tend to be less visible as the finish begins to show a little wear.
Letís hope that the swirls are not in the wood or the finish below the paste wax because removing them involves refinishing the floor.
