Question

I want to know where seniority comes in to play. I have worked in the same system for twenty five years; how can a person with fewer years take my hours?

Answer

Seniority may or may not play a role in your employment or the hours you work. If you work under a union contract, the terms of your contract would determine how seniority would be applied to your job and the hours you work. If you work for a non-union employer, company policy would apply and you would be entitled to no more hours than you are assigned by your employer.
